The Scottish singer's award was picked up her co-manager Greg Castell as she was unable to attend in person.

The Ivor Novello Awards have taken place in central London, Adele won two of the awards including songwriter of the year.

The singer was not present at the ceremony but Dan Lloyd Jones from EMI Publishing collected the award on her behalf.
He said: "PJ is truly sorry she couldn't be here today, but this is a great honour for her".
Adele's Rolling In The Deep has won the Ivor Novello Award for Most Performed Work.
Adele collected the award with the song's co-writer Paul Epworth.
Lana Del Rey's 'Video Games' has won Best Contemporary Song at the Ivor Novello Awards.
Take That's Gary Barlow has posted a picture of himself smartly dressed on Twitter ahead of the Ivor Novello Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel in central London.
He tweeted: "Just finished training, now off to the best awards show in the calendar."
