Lindsay Lohan: Rehab is a 'blessing not a curse'

Actress Lindsay Lohan has told American TV viewers that she sees rehab as a "blessing".

Lohan was pressed by David Letterman in an appearance of CBS' Late Show about her upcoming 90-day rehab stint as part of a plea deal in a misdemeanour traffic accident case.

The troubled star told Letterman that she looks at rehab as "a blessing and not a curse", after admitting that she did not expect his line of questioning.

She added that right now she wants to be healthy and focus on what she loves - her work.

Report: Lindsay Lohan arrested after reportedly fleeing accident scene

Celebrity news website TMZ is reporting that US actress Lindsay Lohan has been arrested for leaving the scene of an accident this morning after allegedly clipping a pedestrian in downtown Manhattan.

Law enforcement sources said that Lohan was pulling in to park her Porsche Cayenne when - at very low speed - she allegedly hit the knee of a man.
