The shortlist for the 2015 Mercury Music 'Album of the Year' has been announced and it includes seven debuts.
Damon Albarn is among the favourites tipped to take this year's Barclaycard Mercury Prize.
The former Blur frontman has been nominated for his debut solo album Everyday Robots among with 12 other acts including rock duo Royal Blood and Bombay Bicycle Club.
Bookmaker William Hill has tipped Albarn as joint favourite to take the award with Royal Blood.
The winner will be announced at the Roundhouse in London on October 29.
