Former Man Utd forward lands in Valencia for unveiling

Luis Nani is on the way has arrived in Valencia for his unveiling after completing a £7.2m move from Turkish side Fenerbahce.

The former Man United forward posted an image on his Instagram account this morning as he boarded a private jet that took him to his new club, where he will be presented at 8pm local time.

He played a starring role in Portugal's Euro 2016 triumph last month, scoring twice in five games, with Valencia confirming he had joined them on a three-year deal on July 5th.

The 29 year-old scored eight goals in 28 league appearances for Fenerbahce last season, and will be welcomed by a strong Portuguese contingent at the Mestalla including Andre Gomes, Ruben Vezo and Joao Cancelo.

Valencia are hoping to force their way back into Champions League contention under Pako Ayestaran this season after a disappointing spell with Gary Neville at the helm.

The 29-year-old left Manchester United for Turkey in the summer of 2015, having also spent a loan spell back at former club Sporting Lisbon.

During his time at Old Trafford, Nani was part of Sir Alex Ferguson's successful side and won the Premier League four times as well as the 2008 Champions League final.

The deal taking Nani, who was also a reported target of Stoke this summer, to Spain is believed to be in the region of 8.5million euros (£7.25m).
