Former Barings trader Nick Leeson offering debt advice

After causing the collapse of Britain's oldest investment bank and thirteen years after his release from prison, former trader Nick Leeson, who lost £827 million at Barings, has become an alternative insolvency practitioner at GDP Partnership in Ireland.

He is set to help over-indebted borrowers negotiate deals with their banks. In a statement GDP said, "We are absolutely delighted that Nick has decided to join our practice and his experience and background will add significant value to what we are trying to achieve on behalf of our clients."
