Nicole Scherzinger was the first judge to arrive and walk the red carpet ahead of the X Factor launch in Mayfair in central London this afternoon.
Wearing a strapless navy jumpsuit Nicole looked happy and relaxed as she faced the press.
Sharon Osbourne has spoken about how thrilling it has been for the X Factor to return to the traditional closed auditions. This year hopefuls sang directly in front of the four judges in a small room with no audience.
As the judges prepare for the official launch of this year's competition Sharon told Daybreak: "There is nowhere for these contestants to go, once they're there in that small room with us, it's so intimidating - that's what's so fabulous about it."

Singer and X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger spoke to Daybreak about life as an X Factor judge.
She said: "I'm a little crazy and a little bonkers, but you are all as well over here, so it works well."
The singer told presenters Lorraine Kelly and Aled Jones that she still kept in touch with the boys she mentored in the last series, "we're a family," she said.
Speaking about the show, she said she has not been asked back for the next series, but she would be open to any offers.
