Penguins clad in Santa suits in S. Korea festive parade

Crowds in South Korea were delighted after an amusement park hosted a festive penguin parade ahead of Christmas.

A family of black-footed or African penguins marched through the Everland amusement park in the capital of Seoul dressed as Santa Claus, reindeers and Christmas trees.

Christmas is a major holiday in South Korea, home to one of Asia's largest Christian populations.

Penguins dress up to welcome African leaders

A party of penguins has given a group of African leaders a welcome they'll never forget. Dressed in miniature versions of traditional African dress, the creatures were used as part of the welcoming party in Japan.

The black-footed penguins waddled and hopped down stairs, before being carried around a Sea Paradise amusement park in Yokohama.Around 50 African leaders are visiting Japan for the Tokyo International Conference on African Development.
