Photographer discovers WW1 photos in vintage camera

An American photographer has discovered eight photographs from the First World War in an old camera he bought from an antique shop, NBC News reports.

San Diego resident Anton Orlov paid $100 (£62) for the vintage 1901 Bellini Jumelle camera, but while cleaning it he found he had purchased much more than a camera.

There were eight developed photographs inside the casing depicting scenes from the First World War including planes, ruins and even a bomb.

Orlov currently has no plans to sell the pictures, saying: “I'm just happy to put them out there after them being hidden in a camera for 100 years. I'm just happy to see people enjoying them.”
