Hollywood actor Richard Gere was so convincing playing a homeless man on the streets of New York that a French tourist gave him the rest of her family's pizza.
Karine Gombeau from Paris had just finished dinner in a New York restaurant and saw a scruffy-looking man rifling through a bin outside Grand Central station, according to the New York Post.

Gere called the tourist "an angel".
