Brentford confirm Ron Noades died after cancer fight

Brentford FC confirmed in a statement that former chairman Ron Noades has passed away after a battle with lung cancer.

Noades, who owned the majority shareholding in Brentford Football Club from 1998 to 2006, died after battling with lung cancer for most of this year.

The Club’s condolences go to his family and friends at this time.
