Prince Charles will travel to St Asaph in North Wales at the start of next week to offer his support to victims of last week's heavy flooding.

The Prince will also thank members of the emergency services during his visit on Monday.

The tiny city, in Denbighshire, was submerged on Tuesday when the River Elwy burst over flood defences following days of persistent rain.

Great-grandmother Margaret Hughes, 91, was found dead at her home during the evacuation, while hundreds of properties were damaged.
