Singer Tulisa Contostavlos has accepted £42,500 damages from a news website after it wrongly published a still from a sex tape which appeared on the internet.
TNT took the still down as soon as it knew an injunction had been granted but by then it had already received around 9,000 hits.
The details of the settlement emerged during a hearing at London's High Court today.
In July last year, Miss Contostavlos won an apology from her ex-boyfriend, rap artist Justin Edwards, who initially denied being responsible for the tape appearing on the web.
Police are making enquiries after a blogger accused former X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos of punching him and hurling drunken abuse at V Festival in the early hours of Sunday.
Vas Morgan claims the star charged towards him in a "drunken and angry state" and that she punched him in the eye before "hurling abusive threats".
Contostavlos' representative said: "Tulisa strongly denies assaulting Mr Morgan - she specifically denies punching Mr Morgan."
Essex Police have confirmed that they received an allegation of assault "alleged to have occurred at around midnight on Saturday at the V Festival".
"We are making further enquiries," a spokeswoman said.

Singer Tulisa Contostavlos has said her ex-boyfriend Justin Edwards "messed with the wrong woman" after accepting his "sincere apologies" for leaking a sex tape of her.
Speaking outside the High Court in London she said she was relieved the court case was was over and wanted to put the ordeal in the past.
