Middlesbrough moved up to fourth in the Championship table last night with a convincing win over Barnsley at the Riverside.
Tony Mowbray’s side won 2-0, with second-half goals from Seb Hines and substitute Bart Ogbeche.
The home side dominated for large periods of the match, but took until the hour mark to break the deadlock.
Barry Robson’s corner found an unmarked Hines to make it 1-0.
Nigerian international Obgeche then sealed all three points for his team in added time, when he lobbed Barnsley goalkeeper Luke Steele.
Middlesbrough manager Tony Mowbray said:

“It was a difficult match. It's been like that for most of the season. It's torture standing there watching it and that's the Championship. No-one makes it easy for you."
"You've got to give Barnsley a lot of credit. They're a nice football team who play nice football."
The result moves Boro to within five points of second placed West Ham.
