Durham trio make World Twenty20 squad
by Phil Roscoe
Three Durham cricketers have been selected in England's provisional squad for their World Twenty20 campaign in Sri Lanka.
Graham Onions, Ben Stokes, and Scott Borthwick have all made the 30-man shortlist, which will be cut to 15 players on August 18.
Both Stokes, 21, and Borthwick, 22, appeared for England in the Twenty20 match against the West Indies last year. But Onions is still to make T20 debut.
England last won the tournament when Paul Collingwood captained the side in 2010. The Three Lions will face Afghanistan in their opening match on September 21.
