Police say a missing teenager died in an accident during an evening out in Newcastle.
Kelvin Bradley had spent time with friends in Leazes Park on the evening of Saturday 28 July but he became separated from them. Using CCTV pictures, police discovered that Kelvin had found his way to Eldon Square shopping centre. They say he got into a private service area and died after falling.
Kelvin was from Ferryhill in County Durham. His disappearance sparked a five day search in Newcastle city centre. His family have expressed their thanks to everyone who took part.
