The suspended Chief Constable and Deputy Chief of Cleveland Police will both face misconduct hearings following allegations of gross misconduct while leading the force.
Chief Constable Sean Price will answer 11 allegations at the hearing while his deputy Derek Bonnard faces six accusations. The matters relate to the alleged misuse of public funds and the misuse of corporate credit cards. The hearings will be held separately within the next two months.
Meanwhile, a further seven matters relating to Mr Price and another two relating to Mr Bonnard have been deferred to a wider criminal investigation which is ongoing. Both men remain suspended from their posts and strongly deny any wrongdoing.
