Happy ending for flood wedding couple

Northumberland couple, Alan Fleming and Vicky Henry, nearly had to postpone their wedding after the venue they had chosen was flooded in Morpeth.

After hearing their plight on ITV Tyne Tees programme North East Tonight, Hotel Indigo and the Assembly Rooms in Newcastle have joined fores and come to the rescue.

They've provided the couple with a venue, rooms for their guests and the bridal suite. Today they saw it for the first time.

The manager of the Hotel Indigo said that staff were more than willing to help the couple out.

Alan and Vicky had the opportunity to see their wedding venue today.
