Black Cats host in-form Baggies at Stadium of Light

Competition: Barclays Premier League

Venue: Stadium of Light

Kick-off: Sat 24 Nov, 12:45pm

Sunderland will be aiming to make it back-to-back Premier League wins when they host West Brom in Saturday's lunchtime fixture.

The Black Cats ended a run of three straight defeats in all competitions with last weekend's 3-1 victory over Fulham, but their next opponents are arguably one of the surprise teams of the season so far.

The in-form Baggies have won their last three games in a row, and have risen to 4th in the table under the guidance of boss Steve Clarke.

Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill says he's wary of the threat the visitors bring. He said: "They've got off to a great start, and confidence is high and I think that word is very, very important in the game.

"They look a very decent unit. The manager [Clarke] has done exceptionally well, but I suppose he'll be the first one to say it's a great start."
