Competition: npower League One
Venue: Victoria Park
Kick-off: Sat 16th Feb, 3pm
Hartlepool United could move off the foot of the League One table with a victory over Leyton Orient on Saturday.
Pools have occupied bottom spot since October last year, but have closed the gap on the teams above them after a recent improvement in form. John Hughes' side are unbeaten in their previous four league outings going into this game.
Speaking ahead of Saturday's match, Hartlepool boss Hughes said: "We went so many games without picking up a win.
"They were so low in confidence. The place was flat. There was a real in-trepidation and anxiety in our play. I just feel that's lifted, and if we're going to go down lets go down with a real passion and a real fight, and a real pride for playing for the jersey.
"I feel a lot of the boys have taken that onboard. They've been resolute. They've been spirited. We've been competitive, and we've been getting results. So long may that continue."
Hartlepool welcome back striker Steve Howard after his recovery from a hamstring problem. However, midfield pair Andy Monkhouse and Anthony Sweeney are both expected to miss out through injury. Youngster Jordan Richards requires knee surgery and will miss the remainder of the season.
