Two people have been killed and a man is critically ill in hospital after a three-vehicle crash in Middlesbrough.
It happened when a red Jaguar collided head-on with a black Volvo and a white Peugeot van on the A1043 Nunthorpe Bypass at around 2:45pm on Friday 5th April.
The driver of black Volvo, a 58-year-old woman from the Humberside area, died at the scene. Whilst the driver of the Jaguar, an 82-year-old man from Redcar, was taken to James Cook University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A 90-year-old man, who was a passenger in the Jaguar, was also taken to hospital and remains in a critical condition.
Any witnesses are being asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101.
