Magpies missing five players for Fulham clash

Fixture: Newcastle United v Fulham

Venue: St James' Park

Kick-off: 3pm, Sunday 7th April

Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew says he'll be missing five first-team players for Sunday's Premier League match against Fulham.

Ivorian midfielder Cheick Tiote, and French pair Hatem Ben Arfa and Matthieu Debuchy are all out with hamstring injuries. While Fabricio Coloccini and Massadio Haidara are nursing back and knee problems respectively.

Speaking ahead of the game, Pardew said:

"We're missing four or five really big players, which we have done all year if I'm honest with the injuries we've had for one reason or another.

"But I still think we've got a good side to put on the pitch, and we're hoping to get a great result for our fans."

– Alan Pardew, Newcastle United FC Manager

A victory over the Cottagers would put Newcastle up to 13th in the Premier League table.
