Tonight:

Much colder and clearer than recent nights, with winds moderating, allowing a widespread sharp frost.

Remaining blustery wintry showers will soon die away, however they will leave a risk of icy roads in a few places.

Some coastal flooding possible. Minimum temperature -3 °C.

Tomorrow:

Starting cold, crisp and sunny, with winds continuing to ease.

Milder air will spread in from the southwest eventually bringing cloudier skies, patchy rain, and perhaps briefly a little snow.

Maximum temperature 2 °C.
