A group of North East teenagers are hoping to use Valentine's Day to raise awareness about the issue of Domestic Abuse.
The volunteers, who are based in Northumberland, are part of the organisation Vinspired.
Research by the charity Tender shows that 81% of teenagers who experience abuse never access support and that 75% of people say they have been emotionally abused in a relationship.
Today the volunteers will man stalls at Newcastle College aiming to raise awareness.
Rebecca Griffin is one of the volunteers who says she hopes the event will encourage anyone who may be affected by this to come forward.
