The supermarket company Morrisons has been criticised for apparently projecting an image of a giant baguette onto the Angel of the North.
The stunt was part of an advertising campaign to publicise cheaper prices in the company's stores. But Gateshead Council say they did not have permission and no one is allowed to light up the sculpture.
Some have questioned whether the image was really projected or whether it might have been an elaborate photo montage.
