Tour de France: Middleham enjoys double celebration

In the horse racing town of Middleham, there is a double celebration this weekend. Its castle was the boyhood home of King Richard III and the weekend marks the anniversary of his coronation, as well as the arrival of the Tour de France.

The local racing stables have also entered into the spirit of the Tour.Mayor, Tammi Tolhurst says the whole community is excited and looking forward to the event.Big screens will allow spectators to follow the race on television and a huge party is also planned.
