Mourners gather for 'celebration' of Liam Sweeney's life

Hundreds of mourners have gathered for the funeral of Liam Sweeney, one of the two Newcastle United fans who were killed in the MH17 plane crash in Ukraine.

He is the first British victim to be buried. The body of John Alder, a fellow fan who was travelling with Liam has not yet been identified.

Canon Robert Spence gave the sermon and tribute at Liam's funeral. He says the service focused on "thanking Liam for all that he's been for us":
