Police had their photographs taken with minions as they turned out to support the Berwick Goldwing biking Parade.

Neighbourhood officers from Berwick joined hundreds of visitors at the Parade car park in the town on September 17, where scores of Goldwing bikes were on display with funds raised going to the RNLI Berwick lifeboat.

Many people got into the spirit of the event and dressed as their favourite characters including Minions, Smurfs and even an early appearance from Santa Claus.

"It was a great day out and everyone had a good time and enjoyed having their photos taken with the bikes and characters. It was nice to see lots of smiling faces with everyone having fun and raising money for a good local cause.

"Officers spent time chatting to locals and visitors alike, its good to take part in these community events which give people the opportunity to get to meet neighbourhood officers."
