Moyes expects to be the Sunderland Manager next season

David Moyes says he's been given the backing of his Chairman and he expects to be the Sunderland Manager next season, despite the club's relegation to the championship.

Moyes appeared at a pre-match press conference this morning ahead of tomorrow's game at Hull City and the Black Cats Boss confirmed he has met with the Chairman Ellis Short and the Chief Executive Martin Bain.

He made it clear that more talks are necessary as the club looks to make a plan a championship promotion bid, and that will include difficult discussions about the size of the summer transfer budget. But the bottom line was fairly clear - Moyes expects to be at Sunderland next season.
