£6,000 Rolex watch stolen in Newcastle

A Rolex similar to this was stolen Photo:

Police are appealing for information after a £6,000 Rolex was stolen in a burglary in Newcastle.

Between 1.30pm and 8.20pm on Thursday October 19 intruders forced entry through a rear window to a house on Beaminster Way in Kenton.

No-one was in the house which was ransacked during the raid.

The vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual Explorer 1016 model is of great sentimental value to its owner.

Police are asking for the public's help to trace those responsible for the burglary.

This item was of great sentimental value to the occupant of the property and they have been left devastated by this burglary.

We need to trace those responsible for this incident which has happened in the middle of the day in a busy neighbourhood.

Members of the public may well have seen those responsible so if you were in the area last Thursday and saw people behaving suspiciously then get in touch.

If you think you know the people responsible, or have seen the watch in question, then call us so we can return the watch to its owner.

They are prepared to offer a reward in return for its safe return so we would encourage those with information to do the right thing and get in touch.
