Durham have signed former Derbyshire seamer Nathan Rimmington on a two-year deal, the club have announced.

The 34-year-old Australian, who holds a British passport, bolsters a Durham squad that lost Paul Coughlin, Keaton Jennings and Graham Onions at the end of the season.

I am very excited to be joining Durham and I am looking forward to helping the club win silverware.

Everyone I have spoken to about Durham speaks fondly about the club and I'm thrilled that the north east will be my home for the next few years.

I'm incredibly motivated to see Durham do well and I feel like I have a lot to offer in terms of experience and leadership.
