Frosty night ahead. Snow and ice risk

THURSDAY NIGHT:

A few snow showers will continue through the evening but for most it will be dry and clear overnight, with a widespread frost. Winds will remain strong. Lows -2°C.

FRIDAY:

It will be a cold and frosty, but sunny start to the day. It will remain cold through the day, with strong winds, and the odd snow shower. Highs to 3°C but feeling sub zero.

WEEKEND:

Very cold and sunny Saturday with some snow showers, and winds easing later. Overnight, a sharp frost. Cloud increasing on Sunday with snow later. Brighter with wintry showers Monday. Cold.
