Scarlett Moffatt has paid tribute to Gogglebox star Leon Bernicoff, who has died aged 83.
The retired teacher and his wife June were one of the first couples to join the show's cast when it launched in 2013.
He died in hospital on Saturday after a short illness, a statement from Channel 4 and Studio Lambert, the show's production company, confirmed on behalf of his family.
Scarlett Moffatt, who is from Bishop Auckland, rose to fame after her own appearance on Gogglebox and has gone on to win "I'm a Celebrity" and co-host numerous radio and television programmes.
