Flu and norovirus continue to affect hospitals across the north east, with one closing all its wards to visitors.
Wansbeck General Hospital has had to take this universal action; Hexham General Hospital and North Tyneside General Hospital have closed three wards to visitors between them.
All are part of the Northumbrian Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
- Wansbeck General Hospital: all wards
- North Tyneside General Hospital: Ward 5 and 22
- Hexham General Hospital: Ward 4
Restrictions are also in place on unaffected wards in the trust's hospitals.
Visiting is permitted for one hour from 2-3pm and limited to two visitors per bed.
The trust has stressed that this is subject to change.
