Weekend wintry hazards but improving thereafter


Less windy and less cold than of late, but staying largely cloudy with further mainly light snow. The highest temperatures will be along the coast at 2°C. Staying at zero or below where snow cover remains.


Generally cloudy and breezy, with outbreaks of mostly light snow and widespread icy stretches. Later the snow may turn to sleet at low levels and along the coast. Lows -2°C.


Generally cloudy and breezy. Gradually becoming slightly milder into the afternoon with patchy light snow gradually becoming limited to high ground in the north, while turning to sleet or rain at lower levels. Up to 4°C.


Less windy and less cold than of late but rather cloudy. Any snow confined to the tops of the hills, leading to icy stretches.
