A pensioner has been left shocked after her bank declared her dead.
Anne Gray, 72, held a bank account with Santander, but when a deceasedindicator was placed on it, letters arrived from her gas and electricitycompany offering condolences to her family.
Santander wrongly closed her account - meaning her bills and direct debits bounced.
The bank said the notification was a mistake and have since apologised to Miss Gray.
