Inquest over farm family deaths

Inquests will be heard into the deaths of a brother who murdered his sister before killing himself on the picturesque farm where they lived in County Durham.

The body of Danuta Domagalska, 27, was discovered in a shallow grave at New Moor Farm, Walworth Gate, near Darlington, last August.

It was two weeks after she was reported missing and, by that time, a full-scale police hunt had been launched and the body of her brother Piotr Lawniczak, 31, had been discovered hanging in nearby woods.

The inquest is being held at Chester-le-Street Magistrates' Court.
