African orphan choir flies in to Newcastle
An internationally acclaimed children's choir has arrived in Newcastle at the start of a 12 week tour.
The Pearl of Africa Children's choir is touring the length of the UK to support the work of the Molly and Paul Childcare Foundation, which aims to give young people from the poorest nations a safe place to live and the chance of an education.
The talented singers, dancers and drummers are some of the 1.5 million orphans in Uganda as a result of HIV/AIDS, disease and war. They're currently being cared for in schools funded by the Foundation.
