Guisborough burglary: Two men posed as police
Cleveland Police are appealing for information following a burglary on Stump Cross in Guisborough, at 7.30pm on Friday 28th September 2012.
A man in a black baseball cap with POLICE written on it and dark blue fleece entered the house and quickly showed the occupant, a man in his seventies, a card, stating that it was his police identification.
The occupant then became aware of a second man in the property who was also wearing a baseball cap with POLICE written on and a dark blue fleece.
The men then left the address a short time later, having stolen the man’s wallet.
