Our research found there were disabled students in some mainstream schools in the North East who felt they did not get equal treatment in their PE lessons.
However, others felt they have a good experience, like Jolene Duggleby.

A number of coaches and pupils have spoken of shocking examples of mainstream schools in the North East failing children, because they have a disability.
Dave Johnson, the Olympic Legacy Development Officer at Newcastle Council, watched our report and said there was still work to do.
