A 19-year-old student from Blackhill, near Consett, has made the GB junior bobsleigh team and is flying out for the Junior World Championships.

A 19 year old from Blackhill, near Consett, has been chosen to represent Great Britain in the bobsleigh at the Junior World Championships.

Mica McNeill, who went to Durham High School, made history when she won a silver medal for Team GB at the first Winter Youth Olympic Games in January.
