Multi-million investments for North East companies
The Government today announced further funding from the Regional Growth Fund to help create and sustain jobs in the region.
200 new jobs for County Durham manufacturing firm
Washing machines are to be made in Britain once again after a County Durham company secured one million pounds of Government money to build the UK's only factory.
Ebac in Newton Aycliffe was one of twenty four companies to get part of nearly one hundred and twenty million pounds of funding for North East businesses.
The manufacturer says it will create two hundred jobs.

Deputy PM visits North East companies to announce new funding
The Deputy Prime Minister visited two Stockton-based companies to announce winners of the third round of the £2.4 billion Regional Growth Fund.
Nifco and Tinsley were both successful in previous rounds of the Regional Growth Fund. The Deputy Prime Minister met with staff and apprentices to see how the businesses are using the investments.
