Darlington MP responds to Mowden Hall closure decision

Darlington MP, Jenny Chapman has responded to the decision to close the Department for Education site at Mowden Hall in Darlington. In a statement released today, the Labour MP said:

I am very disappointed by the Department of Education’s announcement today. Their statement is sorely lacking a commitment to keep these important jobs in Darlington.

This is despite work local businesses have already done to showcase excellent potential sites in the town - a process that the Department disappointingly drew away from.
