The big smiles of tiny tots are beaming from a new calendar which is being sold to raise money for premature babies.
The children in the photos were each born very early, and the collection has been put together by the Tiny Lives charity in Newcastle.
The 'quilt babies' calendar was the brain child of premature baby parent and long-term fundraiser Marina Dodgson, whose son Joseph was born early.
"We have been making a patchwork quilt to commemorate babies who have been in the Special Care Baby Unit at the RVI and the calendar highlights the stories behind twelve of our quilt babies.
It is amazing to see just how far each of these babies have come and the calendar contains some incredible photographs and stories. It also shows how charities such as Tiny Lives makes a real difference to the babies and their families at such a difficult time."

The charity behind the calendar, Tiny Lives, raises money for the RVI's neonatal unit which cares for six hundred babies born too early or too sick from across the North each year.
