Four people from Middlesbrough have been arrested after a police search for a gun in Carlisle.
Two people arrested after a gun was reportedly sighted in a Carlise bar have been released on bail.
The pair from Middlesbrough were arrested alongside two others from the North East and two from Carlisle.

Police in the city have been searching parts of Botchergate for the weapon.
Officers were told by a member of the public at 4.15am, today, November 24, that two men had been seen leaving Time Bar and one was carrying a gun.
The pair were seen by the witness entering the Ibis Hotel.
Altogether five men and one woman have been arrested and are in custody. Two are from Carlisle.
