X Factor star James Arthur has been back home on Teesside today, signing copies of his debut single - "Impossible'.
Some fans had queued for for over twelve hours - in bitterly cold weather - to meet their local hero.

James Arthur to meet fans in Middlesbrough music store
The winner of the X Factor 2012, James Arthur, celebrates the release of his winners single, 'Impossible', with a signing session at James' local hmv store in the Cleveland Centre, Middlesbrough.
James will be at the store from 4pm to meet fans and sign copies of the new single which was officially released through Syco on Sunday 9th December following James' win on the live ITV1 show.
James' won the X Factor in front of a 10,000 crowd in Manchester, ahead of runner up Jahmene Douglas.
600 free wristbands will be available from the hmv store from 8.00 this morning for those wanting to attend the event.

James Arthur - Fastest selling X Factor winner to date
Singer James Arthur has smashed X Factor sales records with the release of his debut single 'Impossible'.
Despite a decline in viewers for this year's show, the 24-year-old has noticed up the fastest-selling winner's single at this point in its release.
According to the Official Charts Company, by midnight last night there were nearly 190,000 sales of 'Impossible', which went on sale on Sunday evening immediately after the boy from Boro' was crowned X Factor winner.
The CD version of the single will go on sale tomorrow.
Arthur's sales are ahead of all previous other X Factor winners at this point - with Alexandra Burke's 'Hallelujah' notching up 147,000 and fellow winners Little Mix selling 69,000 during the same time period.
He still has to beat Shayne Ward's 'That's My Goal', which shifted 742,000 copies in total.

Shirley Ashworth, mum to X Factor winner James Arthur, caught up with us earlier to talk about her son's win last night and what the future held for him.
Pam asked Shirley if she could believe what had happened yet.

James Arthur has spoken of his amazement at winning this year X Factor. He said he could not believe that he had won and thought presenter Dermot O'Leary had said that his opponent Jahmene Douglas had won.
