Ten members of a gang which brought hundreds of thousands of pounds of drugs for sale in the North East have been jailed for a total of 65 years.

Half of the gang were from Teesside and County Durham, the others from Liverpool and they admitted shipping cocaine across the Pennines every fortnight, providing a regular supply for sale on the region's streets.

Drugs ring sentenced to over 60 years prison time

Ten members of a drugs gang which supplied cocaine and amphetamines to Teesside and County Durham have been jailed for a total of 65 years.

Seven of the gang members from Middlesbrough, Seaham and Liverpool were responsible for bringing large quantities of cocaine from the north west to the north east.

They pleaded guilty to making eighteen drug runs, delivering nearly half a million pounds worth of cocaine.

One of the gang members - 30-year-old Ryan Hodgson - and three others also admitted bringing amphetamines from Bradford for supply across Teesside.
