Justin Welby has spent his last day of official engagements as Bishop of Durham in Darlington, before he takes up his new role as Archbishop of Canterbury.

The outgoing Bishop of Durham has spent his last day of official engagements in Darlington, before he leaves to become the Archbishop of Canterbury.
Bishop Justin Welby will officially move to his new role at the beginning of February. He spent the day visiting school children and apprentices who have benefitted from the Foundation for Jobs, which he helped launch in Darlington when he took up his post only a year ago.
He spoke to Julia Barthram, who asked if he had enjoyed his time in the North East.
