Newcastle United have signed a second French player in 24 hours. Forward Yoan Gouffran will join the club from Bordeaux for an undisclosed fee. He arrived on the same day as defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa.

French side Montpellier have confirmed that defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa has signed for Newcastle United.
