Missing Newcastle man
Police searching for a missing Newcastle pensioner have extended their search nationwide. 73-year-old Alexander Stuart Nicol was last seen heading in the direction of a bus stop in Gosforth, Newcastle, at around 9:50am on Friday 25th January.
Police release CCTV of potential witnesses
Police searching for a missing 73-year-old man from Gosforth are appealing for two people who may have walked past him to come forward. 73-year-old Alexander Stuart Nicol was last seen heading in the direction of a bus stop in Gosforth on 25th January.
A man of a similar description to Alexander Nicol was seen walking on the B1338, near Hipsburn 25th January.
Anyone with any information should contact Northumbria Police on 101 ext 69191.
Description of missing Newcastle man
Mr Nicol has been missing since Friday, January 25th, after he failed to return to his home in Pilgrim Court in Jesmond.
Officers are continuing to carry out extensive enquiries to find him and are appealing to the public for their help.
Mr Nicol is:
- Small
- Bald
- Fit for his age
- Always immaculately dressed
- Last seen wearing light beige overcoat, grey checked hat, dark trousers and shoes, black gloves and a checked scarf.
- Last believed to have been seen in the Regent Centre area of Gosforth that morning.
