Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has been speaking about how he now feels ready to focus on Europe after the club's new signings.

The signings, made in the January transfer window, are thought to have significantly strengthened the Newcastle side and have helped inspire a recent premier league revival.

Ukrainian team Metalist Kharkiv have been warming up at St James Park ahead of tonight's game against Newcastle United.

The Magpies are hosting the Ukrainian side as part of the first leg of the Europa League knockout stages.
