While Newcastle fans may have winced at the prospect of an away trip to Ukraine, when the draw was made it was music to the ears of a group of Metalist fans.
They're members of a UK-based Ukrainian sports supporters' club.
It has 900 members from all over the country, and one of it's founder members is from Sunderland.
Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has been speaking about how he now feels ready to focus on Europe after the club's new signings.
The signings, made in the January transfer window, are thought to have significantly strengthened the Newcastle side and have helped inspire a recent premier league revival.
The club play Ukrainian side Metalist Kharkiv tonight.
